Due to inactivity, the 'forum' function of the BOD website has been disabled.  Members who wish to communicate directly with Board members can do so at any time via a number of options: members can contact directors individually, send the BOD an email (board@cheqfood.coop), or attend any monthly Board meeting.

The General Manager has confirmed with the Board of Directors that Bob's Furniture has signed on for a two year lease regarding CFC's recently-purchased property of 700 Main Street West.  Questions or comments can be emailed to board@cheqfood.coop.  Thank you!

The December 13th BOD meeting has a location and time change.  Due to prior commitments with the GM Hiring Committee meeting at 5:00 on the 13th, the general BOD meeting has been moved to 6:00 PM at the Bretting Community Center.

The regular monthly BOD meeting time, date, and location will resume in January 2012: 5:00 PM, the third Tuesday of every month, at the Vaughn Public Library.

In order to accomodate board members, membership, and staff for the holiday season, December's monthly board meeting has been moved up one week from December 20th to December 13th.  As always, monthly BOD meetings are open to the general membership.  Regular meeting dates will resume in January 2012 (the third Tuesday of every month). The CFC's offer of $225,000 for the property of 700 Main Street West (currently Bob's Furniture) has been ACCEPTED as of today, Friday, November 18th, 2011.  The closing date will be November 30th.  Members may email the BOD directly at board@cheqfood.coop with any questions or comments.  The Board will update the membership with any relevant information as we move forward.

The Board of Directors has voted to amend our offer on 700 Main Street West to $225,000 based on our findings to bring the building to a serviceable condition.  This motion was unanimously passed at last night's monthly BOD meeting held on the second floor at the Vaughn Public Library.  The Board will keep the membership posted on any developments as we move forward.

We now have a page on our website dedicated to the CFC Farm Committee!  We will be updating this page as needed with relevant documents and notes from the committee meetings as we go along.  The committee has met twice already, and is working on generating ideas, suggestions, reccomendations, and proposals to bring to the Board of Directors.
